Cyberfort announces new CEO to help drive ambitious growth plans

Cyberfort has today announced the appointment of Glen Williams as its new Chief Executive Officer as it seeks to drive further growth and reinforce its position as the UK’s leading Cyber security solutions provider.

Backed by Palatine, the UK-focused mid-market private equity firm, Cyberfort is focused on driving growth across its advanced secure Cloud hosting and Cybersecurity solutions and services.

Williams was previously the CEO of IoT specialist North and, prior to this, he led the successful sale of Damovo in 2018. He brings with him broad experience in global IT and strategic partnerships, having held a number of senior management roles at Dell, Computacenter and Lenovo.

Williams said: “I am very excited to be joining Cyberfort at this pivotal time in the evolution of the business.  I am convinced that the combination of Cyberfort’s cyber and cloud expertise and passion for delivering great service will enable us to not only grow significantly but also to provide customers with the end-to-end solutions that meet and exceed their needs.

Cyberfort is already recognised as a leading player within the Cybersecurity market, and I am looking forward to working with Andy Hague and the experienced leadership team to cement our current customer relationships and technical expertise whilst further developing our managed service capabilities.”

Andy Hague will move to the pivotal role of Company Founder and Executive Director, reporting into the Board,  focusing on strategic growth initiatives and major partnerships. Following six years leading the business from initial idea through to a £24m revenue business servicing clients across both the public and private sector, this change in focus will allow the company to maximise the potential of the opportunities that recent accreditation gains and collaborations have created.

Cyberfort Chair, Mark Silver, added: “We are delighted to bring Glen on board to lead Cyberfort.  We are targeting significant organic and inorganic growth over the coming years and, with Glen’s track record in the industry and Andy’s commercial relationships & huge market understanding , combined with Cyberfort’s position as a leading Cybersecurity provider, the business is well placed to achieve its strategic goals and build on the foundations created by Andy and the team over the last six years.  I am also delighted that Andy will remain on the Board to help drive growth in key strategic areas and am very excited about the prospects for the business in the future”.
